At first glance, this wine offers an opaque purple color. The aromatics are seductive and supple, boasting, at first, dark chocolate and toasted espresso characteristics. These aromas evolve into a complex blend of nutmeg and clove and finish with earth and Argentine leather. This wine is medium to full-bodied, offering flavors of black cherries, cassis and roasted vanilla. The tannins are very soft and the finish is long and complex with spicy oak and licorice. Drink now through 2015.
